The Art House will be participating in SF OPEN STUDIOS. 2005 is the 30th birthday of open studios, the largest city-wide art event of the year with more than 600 participating artists. The Art House will be featuring "Disintegration", a solo exhibit of new paintings by resident artist, Todd T. Brown. This exhibit will be open to the public from 11am - 6pm, Saturday and Sunday. It will also be part of the MAPP (Mission Arts & Performance Project) event on Saturday night, October 22.

MAPP: Mission Arts & Performance Project & the Chasky
The Mission Arts & Performance Project (MAPP) is a bi-monthly collaboration of over 30 visual artists, musicians, poets and performers, with ten participating locations. The MAPP puts art and performance on the street level by using alternative spaces such as private garages, basements, and studios.

10:30 pm: "Music of the Iranian Resistance from the Ancient to the Present" - violin by Pourya Khademi, Iranian percussion by Shirzad Sharif
11 pm: "Improvisation can never be an Institution " - Improvised instrumental performance, Aaron Kierbel: drums, Pourya Khademi: violin, Shirzad Sharif: Iranian percussion, Tobo B: bass, and guest MAPP performers.
