Happy/L.A. Hyder is a fine artist working in color photography. She will be exhibiting her work at her Noe Street studio, sharing her showroom with her long-time friend Mary T. Faria, a fine artist making photo-based images.

You can visit them on Saturday, October 22 & Sunday, October 23 from 11 am to 6 pm at 386 Noe Street (at 17th), in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco.

Describing her work, Happy says, “My images bring you from the mundane into an erotics of space and place, firing your imagination and bringing inspiration to your own vision and work.”

Happy’s collectors tell her that they choose an image for the feelings it evokes for them, and find living with their chosen images brings a great sense of joy that increases with time.

Mary T. Faria’s work is deeply thought provoking and finely wrought whether she is working in film or with plant-life directly on photo-prepared paper.

You can also view Happy’s work at her web site.
